Climate Change
Darcie, Charlotte and Jasmines speech to Caroline Lucas
15th February 2019
Hi. I am Darcie
I am Charlotte
And I am Jasmine
Firstly we want to thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule and coming to hear us today. So let’s begin. We are just three of the millions of young children growing up in a world that is changing dramatically.
Sometimes this is a good thing, but in this case it’s not.
Our environment is being destroyed and we cannot stand for that. This is the world that we will be alive in and this is the world we need to change. We need our voices to be heard. But as we are only young, growing up in such a congested world, this is quite a difficult thing to achieve.
But with your help it could be possible. Our future is on the line. We are the voices of tomorrow and we also want to be the voices of today.
We want to lead the way for Children all around the world to have a say in their future. You can help the children of tomorrow by helping the children of today. We want the world of tomorrow to be a clean, safe, green haven for those that inhabit it. We want the world to be a place where everything that lives thrives.
We feel strongly that something should be done about this and you have the power to do so. So please help us with our quest to make the world a better place.
Thank you for your time
Charlotte
