Each year students in Turing School vote for a local charity to support and raise money for. This year our students voted for Time to Talk Befriending, a charity organisation rooted in the Sussex community, serving those aged over 65 who experience feelings of chronic loneliness caused by social isolation.
We at Varndean believe this is an extremely worthwhile cause and something the students in the Varndean community feel strongly about.
On March 29th we will be holding our annual Turing's got Talent charity event.
We will have a diverse range of acts performing on the evening, with students showcasing their talents including: singing, drama sketches, dancing, spoken word and stand-up comedy.
