MRS SILBON MANNING
We were sorry to hear of the recent death of Mrs Silbon
Manning. She worked at the school for several years after
1978, helping the English and Maths departments adjust to the
teaching of mixed ability students in the transition from
grammar to comprehensive. Her input was invaluable,
especially as she also acted as the forerunner of what is now
the role of SENCO. She went on to enjoy a long and happy
retirement with her husband in Worthing.
@VarndeanSchool students, who have had a lovely weekend in Nice, are at the airport, ready to come home. À bientôt!
