Annie the Goat (formally known as Pavilion)
From September 2020, we have had the pleasure of introducing our new school base, Lennox. This school base is named after Annie Lennox, the singer, songwriter and most importantly to us, an activist and advocate for children’s and women’s rights. She epitomises the ethos, pride, ambition and determination that Lennox School represents, with the aim of giving our students the strength and confidence to pursue their own talents, dreams and ambitions. Lennox School has followed in Annie Lennox’s footsteps in celebrating individuality and continues to be interested in what makes us unique. Above all else, Lennox School upholds a strong belief in kindness for yourself and others.
With that in mind, the two new Year 7 forms in Lennox School have the privilege of a brand new pastoral team, headed by Mrs Baker, Deputy Headteacher and English teacher. With the ever growing numbers of students arriving each year, a new school base enables high quality care and consideration for each individual student’s needs both inside and outside the classroom.
Therefore, we have changed Pavillion the Goat’s name to Annie in recognition of our new school base and Annie Lennox herself. Each goat represents a school base and Annie the Goat is so proud to represent the values and ethos of Lennox School (particularly as they are such an individual themselves!)
