This March the Year 7s played their netball tournament at Cardinal Newman. While they struggled to manage their nerves for the first couple of games, their standard of play picked up and they were on good form for the rest of the afternoon. They won 3 games, drew 1 and lost 1. Players of the match were Rosa Williams for her consistent defensive pressure throughout the tournament and Fleur Valiant for outstanding improvement in her shooting technique.

Last week, the Year 10s played their tournament at Patcham High. Despite their lack of confidence at the start, they displayed snippets of excellence and show great promise as a team. If they attend training more regularly next season, they will be outstanding. Players of the match were Lottie Wright and Chloe Farrell who played consistently well throughout the tournament. Out of the four games played, they won two (against Patcham High and Dorothy Stringer) and lost two (against Cardinal Newman and Brighton & Hove High School). Well done girls. Take inspiration from your performance, you've got real potential. With regular practice next season, you will smash it!
