Performance update

 
Dear Varndean Families,
 
Unexpectedly, for some, England have reached the semi-finals of the World Cup. In light of this historic occasion and to give all families the opportunity to watch the match together, we are bringing forward the time of Wednesday's Year 7 and Year 8 performances to 5pm. This means that The Playground (Year 7) will begin at 5pm and The Hamelin Estate (Year 8) will follow at about 5.45pm.
 
I expect the event to be finished by 6.10pm.
 
Year 7 actors should be in room D32 by 4.30pm
Year 8 actors should be in D31 by 5pm
 
Performers may wish to stay in school before these times in which case they will be supervised by drama teachers in the drama rooms.
 
Thursday's performance will take place as scheduled at 7pm.
 
I hope you will be able to watch one of these and also the football match.
