Details of this year's Student Review Day on Thursday 19th November.
On student review day we focus upon each individual student’s learning. The normal school timetable is suspended for the day, so students should only come into school for their pre-arranged appointment. You and your child will be given an appointment with your child’s form tutor. During the meeting your child’s form tutor will be reviewing or agreeing targets for the rest of the year with you and your child. Also the form tutor will be able to discuss any concerns and issues you may have.
Appointments start at 8.30am and run through until 5.00pm; each appointment lasts 15 minutes. We will allocate a time for you, but if you need a specific time to accommodate work or other arrangements please inform us by using one of the two methods listed below:
- returning the reply slip below to your school base,
- e-mail your reply to brendamuzio@varndean.co.uk
We will then do our best to allocate times that will suit. There is only time for one 15 minute appointment per student and we request that separated families arrange a mutually convenient time to meet with the tutor. PLEASE EMAIL OR RETURN REPLY SLIP BY 23rd OCTOBER 2015.
If you have specific, subject related questions please let the tutor know in advance and they can liaise with the appropriate subject teacher to address your query at student review day or they will contact you after the day with an update.
We look forward to seeing you on Thursday 19th November.
