
Varndean Samba Band at the Dome
Varndean Samba Band have been asked to open the Brighton and Hove Music Marathon taking place on Saturday 17th November from 10-4pm at the Brighton Dome. This is a real honour for us and we are hoping to raise as much money as we can in return to support the provision of the Arts in Brighton and Hove.
As you may be aware, the Arts are being cut all over the place so if you have family or friends, sons/daughters, nieces/nephews who learn an instrument, and even if you yourself have had lessons or joined a choir or a band, please consider donating something to ensure that all future young people have the same opportunity.
The events are going on all day in the Dome so feel free to come and support if you want to see what's happening. Our Samba Band are opening the event at 9.45am in Pavilion Gardens, processing into the Dome and kicking everything off on stage at 10am.
